I know he's getting more popular every time and right now I'm looking at free fight Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Michael Johnson and that has 14 millions of views already.
That's more that which Mcgregor vs Khabib free fight had a couple of weeks ago.

Is he the new super-star in the UFC? How many PPV buys do you think UFC 242 will get?
How popular do you think he is/will be?

Probably 2nd biggest after Conor. I don't know how popular is he in Russia but overall i think the bum conor still draws a bigger crowds, unfortunatelly.

Hard to tell. PPV numbers will not be fair to compare, but I guess we will have to compare the new numbers once everyone who are probably bigger draws headline cards. Maybe it's prejudice, but I think in Russia and rest of eastern europe, people don't pay that often for something that can be had for free on the internet.

He's a moderate draw for a fighter with no personality

No, his russian fans and poor dagistani friends dont pay PPV.

second biggest star but ppv will be low. weak card, wrong time zone and ufc isnt interested in ppv for this card. they got paid on the side by arab oil money which is why they didnt need to stack the card. arabs wanted khabib, they got khabib rest doesnt matter.

McGregor made him popular

Conor blessed his bum life

Nobody would know or care besides 3 sheep farmers in dagestan otherwise

And thats a fact

His next ppv will do like 300k and people will say it's a roaring success

Hes a draw in the sense that people care about him. But I would guess the vast majority of those people dont buy PPVs. So maybe not a financial draw as much.

Yeah this. Hes extremely popular but it’s not gonna translate to PPV buys. His free fight vs Johnson did 15 mil YouTube views but once paying is involved he’s not gonna do massive numbers.

The fact that the card is in the afternoon makes it doubly difficult to compare with pre ESPN PPV numbers.

I expect that it does 200K buys.

the term "draw" is poorly defined.
UFC as a business has slowly transformed from a place where PPV buys in north america was everything, to today, where their biggest revenue stream is television rights fees.

I know I have seen PPV's where quick transition pans catch part of the spectator seating and you see gaps in the crowd and others that look to be standing room only... I'm not positive that's a great litmus test but if we see a lot of empty seats I think it will give us a decent indication of his drawing power...

When will you people learn: you will never know the PPV numbers in the ESPN+ era. Get this through your skulls. You will never be able to compare what numbers Khabib does now with earlier PPVs. The PPV era is over.

Khabib probably has more fans worldwide but how many of those people can afford to buy a PPV to watch him live?

Conor’s fans probably have 10 times the income of Khabibs
