Harold Howard has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison after pleading guilty to a number of charges that included attacking two family members with a hammer and crashing his pickup truck through the front doors of Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.

Howard appeared Friday in Ontario Court of Justice in St. Catharines where he pled guilty to half a dozen charges that included aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, dangerous driving, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, mischief and breach of a court order.

Not sure Luka belongs on the same list as those other two since he was far too self absorbed and arrogant to every play the role of the loving, thoughtful encouraging prophet required in the early stages of cult building too earn the trust, admiration and unwavering loyalty/ devotion required too gain that level of control over so many followers.

Still a very fucked up dude but he's more in the class of a BTK, Jack the Ripper and the Zodiac killer. Unlike the last 2 though his arrogance and desperate need for attention ended up being his down fall much like BTK when their egos overrode their brains instinct for self preservation.

At least Rader was smart enough too get away with it for almost 30 years before he finally got overly cocky, Luka got caught 2 bodies short of even qualifying as a serial killer and if it hadn't been for his extremely public stunt with the politicians (and more recently the Internet's love of cat's, lol) he would have remained in 2012 known by Canadians but only occasionally remembered randomly during weird conversations instead of becoming semi famous ( which I'm sure he is loving).

In reality the guy who randomly attacked and cut off another guys head on a Grey Hound before parading the head around for hours during the police stand off that same year (I believe) makes for a far more interesting story but nobody ever really followed up and tried to figure why he did such a spontaneous, random and unprovoked thing too a helpless unsuspecting and innocent fellow passenger. So fucked up.
