How worried would you be for Jones, obviously Rumble can KO anyone but Jones is the GOAT, how badass would it be if Jones wanted to prove a point and strike with him, Bones tends to do this a lot, beat you at your own game, but against Rumble...

This fight gonna be epic!

I think Jones would be a big favourite but Rumble can put out anyone's lights if he gets a good shot in. Even if Rumble was scheduled to fight Daniel Cormier, I wouldn't think it was a clear cut win for Cormier.

If Jones is smart and uses ALL of his skill set to his advantage, I think he takes this fight 9 times out of 10. BUT I think the danger ramps up significantly if he's looking to prove a point. We've never seen Jones rocked, so it's hard to say how good of a chin he has, but if there's anyone who can test him, it's gotta be Rumble.

If he wants to make a statement, then he'd better wrestle-fuck Rumble for the first few rounds, or maybe beat him up on the cage--either way, tire him out--before he goes looking for a highlight reel KO.

I cant shake the feeling Rumble would KO Jones. The guy is dangerous as hell plus hes a taller guy with longer reach but also INSANE power and aggressiveness. And he also has very good takedown defense and wrestling, hes been tightening up even more since DC fight. Hes got a good left high kick too. This would give Jones big problems. I could also see Jones being the tactician that he is and slowly picking him apart as he fades and proceeds to give up his neck.

No he's not. Rumble can stop any man alive.

Jones would problably hit Rumble with a few eye gouges early on and given Rumble's history he would most likely fall apart mentally. Thus letting Jones pick him apart as fatigue slowly saps Rumble's strength. Jones by UD.

Rumble can defeat ANYONE in ANY division with the power he is packing. So there is always a chance Jones gets caught and goes night night. But assuming Jones can avoid that power, he'll sub him.

Hardly. Rumble is much more dangerous standing, and possibly has a decent strength advantage. He's also a decent grappler, so he can still fend Jones off if he gets a hold of him.

Where Rumble comes up short is the issue of cardio, as he has been known to fade when he's really made to work. He's also susceptible to Jones' special move...the eyepoke!

Rumble has game changing power and you can never count guys like that out. If Jones beats Cormier I'd expect him to be a heavy favorite over Rumble.

Jones likely wins but Rumble isn't a clear cut win for anybody.

I'm not sure what rumble offers that rampage didn't. 3-4 more inches of reach I guess.

Rumble always has that puncher's chance. If he can land it, he can win but the longer the fight goes, the more it favors Jones. It's similar to his fight with DC. He did drop DC but he didn't really land the big one that he needed.

How is it Jones eye pokes everyone but Magny doesn't?

Don't think Rumble versus anyone is an easy fight. His power always makes him dangerous. If Jones gets it to the mat I think he subs Rumble.

I think after a couple of eye pokes AJ would be hesitant to rush in on Jones .
