Is Jon Jones jealous of Israel Adesanya shine?

Can someone explain to me why Jones would be jealous? He's far more popular, has accomplished 10x what Israel has, and is the superior fighter. He responded to him and guy act's like Jones attacked him out of nowhere.

Some media-members are blowing him off, Sonnen for example already calling him the greatest talent in the UFC - and the skill gap between him and Jones are razor thin. But just like him saying Jones isn't a PPV-draw - headlined 3 of the 5 biggest PPV-numbers since 214 - he is pulling this nonsense from his arse.

Israel wants that shine, that's all. With Khabibi and McGregs both suspended, Jones are the biggest draw and therefore most relevant guy i guess. Adesanya having beef with someone else wouldn't draw attention. Jones havin beef with anyone else would draw attention. Adesanya is still just a fish in the water. Whittaker and Romero are there to blow his head off.
