I just saw an interesting comparison between the two

Both could go down as the greatest in their sports history

Both achieved success at a very young age, and many critics thought they were not mature to handle it.

Both were involved in scandals and behavior issues during the prime of their careers

Tigers career was never the same after he tried to clean up his act from the scandals, some believe that he NEEDED these distractions and a playboy lifestyle to keep him motivated in his career

With Jon, its still TBD, but it will interesting to see if he's the same fighter once he clears up his act, or if it was these distractions outside of his sport that helped him become GOAT and deal with all the pressures from his MMA career

I really don't get why that was a scandal with tiger. He cheated on his chick, is normal. This just makes people like them more. I gained a massive amount of respect for tiger after that, I had no idea he was slangin that D like that.

Wasn't Tiger's plummet in part due to age? I'm no golf expert, so I'm asking

If Jones falls, it'll be multifactoral - he's gained a lot of weight, much of it muscle, IF he was on gear he's going to have either find something new or go without it, he's been out for a long time, the guy he could be facing in Rumble might be the worst style match up he's faced

Too easy of a narrative to say "he needed distractions" thats' some Ariel Helwani shit

Sometimes I don't know how anyone can expect these high profile stars to remain faithful. There's girls throwin' pussy at them everyday.

If you've never done a fat line off a hookers ass in your entire life then... you wouldn't understand.

Tiger Woods would have beaten Matt Hamill by 25 strokes.

Tiger is the GOAT while Jones isn't.

Using Tiger is a terrible example. His downswing was in parts fall out from his divorce/cheating scandal, his body starting to fall apart (knee/back surgeries), plus the evolution of the golf game.

I hate this comparison for a couple of reasons. 1) Tiger was still winning shortly after the scandal. 2) It was INJURIES that killed Tiger's career. He got old and injured. BIG difference.

Tiger's injuries led to his current slump more than the scandal, IMO. Trying to comeback early from injury , and then not playing enough tournaments to readjust to playing regular golf.
In his heyday , Tiger only played 20 or so tournaments a year, and since 2009 has only came close to playing 20 once( 2012). I'm sure mentally he isn't the same , but he won't break out of it unless he
puts in competitive rounds. If he stays healthy this year we may see flashes of the old Tiger again.

Jones on the other hand needs maybe two fights to shake his ring rust and get back to dominance.

Tigers bum knee, and bum back were his downfall. Not being busted cheating on his wife.

Both are the best to ever compete in their sport though, so there is that comparison.
