Is John Lineker in purgatory?

I am a big fan of Brian Kelleher, his tenacity has allowed him to get a big time opportunity fighting Lineker and the dude has a chin for sure!

With that being said how does John Lineker go from fighting Tj Dillashaw to fighting unranked opponenets? He deserves a big time fight and unlike Kamaru Usman he is fun to watch.

Give this man a top 10 opponent!

Most of the top guys were matched up and he has a very lopsided loss to the champ. That's literally how this always happens yet people act shocked.
 
He should have fought Cody Garbrandt tonight. Cody was gifted an undeserved immediate TS against TJ when the division is lined up with other contenders in line, but don't get me started on that rant.

I think Lineker should fight Cruz or Loser of Rivera vs Moicana next and then TS if he wins again. He looks quality tonight
 
No, he's right around the top echelon of BW.
But he definitely sent Kelleher to purgatory with that filthy beautiful KO.

I agree, a fight between Linker and Cody would be a slugfest for the just bleed God.

I think Cody loses that one. Linkers chin is also apparently made of stone.

Kellerher wasn't supposed to be a big time player so that is fine, I think you and I agree about Lineker
 
Gotta be honest, I enjoyed this fight a lot because I absolutely can't stand Kelleher and it was fun for me watching him get beat up and knocked out. But technically you're right, Lineker should be a fighting a very different caliber. In fact you can pair him up with anyone in the top 5 right now to determine a new number one contender. I think a fight with Rivera would be the most interesting option because I don't see him beating guys like Garbrandt and Cruz yet so it would be a waste of momentum. Assuncao would be another option, but a more boring one.
 
He shoulda fought Cody or assuncao

Im actually really growing on Kelleher too, showed toughness tonight. And that Submission over alacantra was dope

Amen amigo! Put Kelleher in some action fights or as a test, either way he delivers. I want Lineker to fight Assuncao or Sterling(who annoys me), or Cody no dad(I guess the point is that there are lots of fun high level for John Lineker)
 
Cruz would be interesting. In theory Cruz should have the footwork to cause Linekar fits but I wonder if he punches hard enough to get his respect

Did you see Lineker vs TJ? I remember TJ taking him down at will and beating him up

Lineker has no business vs the top guys

Yeah, he lost, but he keeps winning fights, so yes he does deserve to fight the top guys in the division if he keeps winning.
 
Lineker fought Kelleher because he likes to stay active and wanted to fight in Rio.

I’m assuming you meant Rivera vs Moraes. I like Lineker fighting the loser of that if Cruz isn’t the option.
