Is Javier Mendez the biggest obstacle of a Cain vs D.C. fight.

It seems like Cain is at least to some degree open to the idea earlier this year at least.

As long as the next HW fight for D.C. is Brock, and D.C. is pushing hard to get Cain on the card with he and Brock, it makes me wonder. It's F-tarded to have an instant rematch against a guy you just flatlined. "IF" Brock should for any reason not be able to fight D.C., Stipe would be the single worst choice for his replacement. This is the biggest $$$ money coming up for D.C. in his career. A good friend should want to help their partner if they can. As long as Cain is ready to fight on the same card, he should get the opportunity to share in the wealth with his BFF and meet him for the belt. D.C. has his future paved in Commentary. Cain is depending on AKA.

I don't know why under these circumstances why Javier would be so opposed to them fighting. Seem like a no lose proposition for AKA.

I feel like DC himself is a pretty big obstacle.

What's Javier got to do with this?

Cain and Chicken are friends they don't want to fight eachother.

I still remember when Javiar went to meet Josh Koscheck in a park and then they just walked away from eachother. And Javier admitted it was his fault.

No way Cain deserves a title shot. DC will be long gone if he indeed earns one.

It's rare to find friendship like this. Imagine the sacrifices both guys have made to maintain that. More power to them.

Cain still seems to have herniated disc problems so it really doesn't matter until he can fight in a cage and with this type of injury- idk, starting to get feeling we might not see Cain again. A real shame for a bad ass like Cain but if these spasms/herniations are hitting his nerve wall (spine)--- he ain't getting into no cage.

Javier was quoted that "He/ AKA" would vacate the belt before allowing the fight to happen. As it is D.C.'s last fight, I don't know how much leverage that Javier would have if the two did want to compete.

Can't see this happening, and I don't think it was implied by Cain's tweet that he would be open to the idea.

    1) DC would obliterate Cain. Basically a better version of him.
    2) DC loves Cain call him a brother. He would never fight him.

This isn't like Chuck - Tito... we are friends. These guys are brothers. But this is the fight game. Would love to see it but more likely now in WWE....

i don't think those two ever want to fight. if they really did, cain should fight stipe and have to beat him to fight dc.

no, i don't think dc beats cain. cain knows dc too well. you can come back and say that dc knows cain as well. but there is a reason why dc decided not to challenge cain within aka for the heavyweight strap before cain became champ.

Cain already did a presser for the WWE saying that he wouldn't mind taking "another belt" from Brock Lesnar. Something is going on with this love triangle here. Unless that "hinted" at D.C. dropping the belt to Lesnar, and working an angle that his teammate Cain gets called out by Brock demanding a rematch to set him & AKA up well $$$$$$$

I think DC has the better wrestling and by far the better hands. Also seems much faster.

When Cain is not able to implement a pressure-wrestling based game plan (Werdum fight) he shows a ton of holes in his game.

DC may be older but Cain has the body of a 60 years old.

I lean toward Cain also, but I've been wrong before.

you don't think cain could pressure-wrestle dc? i sure can. but i see where your'e coming from. we don't really know, and we'll probably never know. what i do know, is that cain doesn't deserve a fight with dc, anyway. guy has been away for a long time. like i said earlier in the thread, he needs to fight a top contender like stipe, to even warrant a title-fight.
