Jack Shields passed away in 2011.

His son, Jake, is a great MMA fighter though. He won titles in every organization he fought for that wasn't the UFC.

he definitely has a great resume, however damn he is boring as hell not to mention his ufc run wasn't exactly amazing.

-Came to the ufc and got gifted a decision over Kampmann imo: split decision
-lost 2 straight (no shame in either loss though)
-beat herman (overturned due to drug failure)
-one of the worst fights ive ever seen against woodley: split decision
-fun grappling match with maia: split decision
-got dominated by lombard, then released.
