I'm being serious. I don't have any issues with WMMA, I just have zero interest in it. Ronda mean mugging somebody or telling how she will beat her up looks awkward to me. Sure, she would beat me up and many larger, stronger men too. But even then it just doesn't feel serious, it doesn't feel real. The whole idea of women beating up women just isn't entertaining. It's kinda like some man doing the female choreography in figure skating. He might be skilled and all but he would still look lost. I would think: "Why is he doing that?" Am I sexist because I'm watching Soa-Bigfoot, Rua-Nog and Nog-Struve but I'm not watching Ronda-Correia? Is here anyone who at first didn't care about WMMA but eventually started to like it? How did it happen?
Honestly, I agree 100%. Mindboggling to me that people I work with were asking me today if they should order the PPV tomorrow (their first one)! I'm interested in watching Shogun fight but other than that have zero interest tomorrow. When Ronda loses, this fad will pass. I can understand Ronda is a big draw and deserves main event status but stop wasting our time with these low level wmma filler fights. I'd rather watch Cody Mckenzie vs Jose Canseco in a one legged kickboxing match.
only weird mma fans look down upon people for not liking it. do you see nba fans saying anything if you dont watch wnba? mma fans 4ever betas
For me women fighting is like guys stripping. I don't care if they are good at it, it just doesn't interest me.
Nope, I have zero interest in the fights as well. Some are attractive, but even then it's hard to watch.
I couldn't care less who on here does or doesn't like WMMA. I just don't care for people going out of their way to flood WMMA threads with comments about how they don't like it.
I've always thought Lay n' Pray was a huge waste of time, but when Miesha Tate does it, I could watch hers all day.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk is the only WMMA fighter I enjoy watching. The others seem out of place on the same card as the men. Not because they are women. Because they don't fight as well as some guys I know that have only trained for a couple months... JJ actually has good striking technique, and effective takedown defense.
I honestly enjoy most of them, it just seems like they bring it most of the time. You don't see a lot of lay n pray. So I'm good with it
Nope. Look at this site. There are literally the same 10 people who will come in here and white knight wmma. I couldnt name any of the thousands of other posters, as they dont cry as hard.
