Is it time for Dana to step down?

Do you have actual numbers to back up your claims?

Are you privy to some of Zuffa's financials that the rest of us aren't?

Or just Kevin Iole's PPV buyrate speculation?

How can you say everything is on a downward slope when the UFC is executing more TV deals worldwide, expanding TUF to multiple countries, putting on more shows every year, and increasing fighter pay yearly?

You may be correct from a U.S. centric pov that the UFC is flatlining or declining in popularity in the US, but the UFC as a whole is expanding and growing worldwide.

lol, are you even serious?

Well, he is def not professional but tbh is any sport? they are all a bunch of thickos imo he's just another arsehole in sports.

Poseidon....but isn't this OUR sport??? Don't we want the UFC to expand into a globalized powerhouse? TBH, yes, other sports are very scheduled and serious. The UFC's own ranking system is broken and not utilized. It's time for a more motivated mind to re-ignite the UFC flame!

LOL, so the PPV numbers HAVENT gone down in the last couple years????

And Bellator just made a south American deal with FOX.....how emberassing is that for the UFC?

I cant answer that, no one can. Zuffa does not release that information.

Your assumptions are based on Kevin Iole's guesstimations based on website hits, google searches, and other secondary criteria.

It's been a really long road; do you think Zuffa should find a more professional spokesman for the sport and brand at this point?

Dana started strong and spry, but has been mentally degrading as of late. Do you think he is still the masterful face of the sport, or should Zuffa go with another representative to push their brand who acts more professional to his fans and the media?

MMA needs someone who is REAL.

Someone who swears and doesn't bend over for political correctness.

Dana needs to stay as long as humanly possible. The detractors need to go away and stay away from my beloved sport.

You lose

Not really embarrassing to the UFC, seeing as how the UFC is with the larger providers in south America. Somewhere around 100-130 million homes, whereas Fox south America is only in 50 million homes.

Again, not a bad move by the UFC.

Do you even realize that behind Dana are hundreds of employees who actually make the UFC run properly. And that Dana's entire new ethos on the UFC brand detract from MMA being an international sport competition to begin with????

Obviously there is no point having a discussion with you.

From my pov without knowing anything of the UFC financials and just basing my opinion on their growth worldwide, I would say they are either doing quite well....or they are going broke trying to give that impression.

I can't say which is true, but neither can you. But you sure can act like a pompous ass like you know something everyone else doesn't.

It's the fact that FOX even partnered with Bellator to begin with.

Bellator has weekly shows....they'll sap all the talent out of Brazil before the UFC will get around to signing all the talented, future cats for a "big shot."

They need a David Stern type of figure if they want to be fully mainstream.

Dana's always been a rebel. He doesn't want to wear suits. He doesn't want to speak business english. He wants to be emotional. He shows no diplomacy in his media appearances.

But yea, that Dana White brought the sport to wear it is today, sure. But is it because of how Dana behaved, or because the sport was at a full bloom and would have grown regardless of the Dana White character?

We're going to find out now, when the sport is pretty much saturated. It's peaked.

Let us see how long Dana can keep people interested. They've reached Fox. This has been their goal. But achieving is much easier than sustaining.

He was borderline bashing Fox Latin America the other for how they only got the leftover mma promotion when they signed Bellator, because an agreement couldn't be reached with the UFC.

Yea, he's in the big boy world now. He can't continue his totalitarian regime forever. Fox basically told him to F off and signed Bellator.

So it took the UFC all this time to get to Fox, and Bellator just got there too.

Viacom is basically sitting there waiting for Dana White to shoot himself and his own organization in the foot, and they're going to jump on the opportunity to explode Bellator to the same level.

Yea all it takes is for more fighters to think "fuck this UFC bullshit" and jump to bellator. It will happen one day.

It's what happened with WCW vs WWF. WCW had all the money, bigger names, better ratings and viewership. But they killed themselves from the inside out with suicidal management.

Wow, awesome comparison....

When Dana leaves, Chael will take his spot.

Everyone hates David Stern.

WWF was always better.
