For when training for a fight to have 2 really expirienced fighters take turns beating me up for 4 rounds while the instructor thinks its funny and critisices me and it makes my confidents go so low i dont have any anymore?

o.O

I don't think thats right, join a new gym. Unless they're messing with you and just playing around and you've known them forawhile other than that, no that is not normal.

Na they were foreal, they said I am lucky to have a people like them helping me. Im only 16 and they were all like in there 30's.

youre 16 and you probably got butthurt for getting knocked around and are bitter when your coach tries to coach you

getting dominated in training can help you in the fight, you develop mental toughness or you don't. if you can endure hell in training, then the fight is the easy part. when i'm rolling or sparring with my guys, sometimes they start to get lazy, and i'll talk some shit, tag them up a bit and try to get them riled up to see how they react. keeping composure in the heat of the fight can be very important.

More details.

Taking your share of of ass whippings is kind of expected, and it's how you get better. If they were really abusing you, then you should seriously weigh your options.

Like there was a couple times when i was gonna puke and i stopped and they yelled at me and made me keep fighting, i got in trouble for throwing to many leg kicks they said they wont work in the fight, my instuctor asked my mom if she wanted to see me get beat up i thought that was a little rude, i havent even been training a year yet and these guys were whooping me to no end. They were basically bullying me physically and mentally.

Honestly, sounds like tough love to me. Yes, it IS "rude," but it should be a real concern. If you are getting ready for a fight, then it is a serious thing, and a lot of trainers will make those kinds of comments to anger you, motivate you, etc. Mine has said similar things.

If you are just training for fitness or as a hobby, then it's too much, but you said you are getting ready for a fight...seems about normal to me.

Alright,I just wanted to make sure its a normal thing and im not taking abuse for no reason.

the bigger question is why are 16 year olds with less than a year of training preparing for a fight?

Remember when a friend of mine was gonna go his first fight in Thailand. He was gonna fight on a wedensday, but the fight got moved to a saturday at Kawai stadium in Chiang Mai instead. But he got sick for the first 4 days in the last week before the fight. When he came back to training, Kru Yoi went: "Hah, Saturday, you DIE!". He won tho :P

Being bullyied in the gym can be great if you get motivated from it. I'd say, try first and suck it up, see if you improve, get stronger. If after a while you're still not comfortable, then find another gym. In the end you got to set the limits. But things like being forced to fight even if you wanna puke, will help you in your fight, I assure you it will be more exhausting than you can imagine. But maybe not by so much if you've been through a really hard camp before.

I remember what they told me when I joined the army: "Your mother thinks you can perform physically at 50% of what you are capable of. You think 90%. The army will show you that you can perform 150%.". This has worked for thousands of years, you get pushed through more than you think you can handle with discipline and pressure to perform.

Its poor advice to say that leg kicks don't work in a fight. I don't know the specific context of this advice from your trainer, but being a shorter guy I love to go to the legs with my kicks and if you land a couple hard ones they are extremely effective.

I think its fairly normal to spar with more experienced guys, and to always have a fresh opponent switching in. Its good to have adversity in training, and to know what its like to take some shots. That being said, if they are completely dominating you all the time to the point where you aren't even able to work anything it may not be the best situation.

So you're sparring for 4 rounds and the fighters take in turns of sparring each round??

That sounds normal. How far out are you from the fight??

Also remember to mentally note of what you're getting tagged with and work on it, some gyms and trainers don't really get it so it's up to you to identify what you're getting hit with and work on it.

Ass whipping's are never good on the confidence thats when you look up some inspiring stuff online and look at your goals to help motivate you to push through it.

They're toughening you up. Stop complaining and take everything they give you and learn from it.
I recently had my first amateur muay thai fight at 145 lbs, I came in completely confident and pretty much laughed every time my opponent hit me. This was because I spent my training period getting the shit beat out of me by professional 205lb fighters. It's all for your benefit. Lets put it this way, if they were really trying to hurt you then you'd be making multiple trips to the hospital.
Long story short: stop being a pussy, getting beat up by people better than you is how you learn.

Um to get more experience and test their skills, maybe? Do freshman football players train for a year before their first game?

This. The criticism is to sharpen up your technique and keep you from getting Knocked The Fuck Out.

This - If you think it's helping you then it is.

Depends how much of a whiner/talker you are. If its a professional gym and the people you're working with are reputable, then I'm sure they know what you're doing. But if they're just berating you without cause, then leave the gym.
