Gustafsson: "it's not fair for Jones to get a title shot" - aka I don't want to fight Jones for the title again.

DC: "it doesn't make sense for Jones to still be interim champ" - aka please take it away from him so I don't have to fight him again

Rumble: has been pretty adamant about fighting DC - aka I know Jones will beat me so I want to atleast win the belt first

They are afraid to be scheduled to fight him only to have him pull out at the last minute with no replacement ready. Jones is a circus act.
 
If anything they should want to be the first person he fights when he gets back! How many fights has jones been in the last two years?
 
Absolutely. Why wouldn't they be scared of the GOAT? They are all aware that Jones could literally kill them. The sheep will always be scared of the Lion

Jones is the next Khabib. The last time he fought twice in the same year was 2013. Obviously Khabib is worse but Jones will give him a run for his money.
 
Jones is unbroken, unlike the arm of the pregnant lady he hit and ran.

Why shouldn't they be? The guy can do lines of coke all year, barely train and still show up and whoop all their asses. His training for Gus was bag work to lose weight....

Jones is 3-0 since they fought.
Gus is 2-2. And definitely not fighting in 2016 again.

This. Nobody wants to waste their time training for a guy that the odds are more likely he will not make it to the fight without screwing up. I'm sure they all saw the OSP "fight" and then the PED tests that were failed shortly thereafter. They're not scared, just tired of the same old selfish behavior.
