would you say that Israel is a greater technical striker at MMA than Loma is at boxing?
of course Israel is the greater overall striker, but in terms of their specific disciplines

here's what i believe

it has to be Israel.... Israel's boxing skills are arguably on the same level as Vasily's, maybe slightly less but close plus kicks, elbows etc. etc.

This is insulting to Loma. I don't know if you've seen that dude fight, but that motherfucker is a once in a lifetime type of guy.

Plus boxing is more technical by default cause it's more of a sport.

Also, boxing talent pool is deep as fuck.

but you would agree that Israel's boxing is almost equal to Loma's if not equal plus the added stuff

I say this as a huge Izzy fan, fuck no. Lomachenko is unbelievable with what he can do inside the ring. Watch his fight with Rigondeaux, Rigondeaux is a defensive master and Loma made him so perplexed during the course of their fight that he just quit on his stool and refused to come out, that was like the third fighter to do that against Loma if memory serves me correctly. Lomachenko is like a boxer's boxer, he's so good at the craft that unless you've boxed yourself you'd miss all the subtle nuances going on, it's truly mind blowing.

Just to be sure, in other words the question is: Who has the bigger advantage in striking. Adesanya over his competition or Lomachenko over his?

I would say Adesanya has a bigger advantage over his competition but only because MMA isn't pure striking. It's not uncommon for guys with mediocre striking to reach the top of the sport (Khabib, Usman, Colby to name a few) because they really excel in other martial arts.

well that's a common argument.....that to become elite in boxing is harder than to become elite in mma

Not even close. Izzy isn't even a greater technical MMA striker than Anderson was.

Loma is almost technically perfect in all aspects on top of his creativity, dude's a rare talent. Shame he came around a decade to late to see him and Floyd fight.

What he did to Rigo was unbelievable but him and Floyd around 2001 would have been incredible. (Of course I slightly favor Floyd but it would have been tough).

ok maybe i made a spite thread.....i think comparing Israel to say Usyk would of been more competitive

izzy's boxing skills are on the same level as Lomachenko???? hahahahaahahahahahahahahahahaha that has to be, one of, if not the most laughable thing I have ever read, in my entire life....do you know who lomachenko is?????? he's considered to be the lb for lb #1 in the world...him and crawford. his boxing skills are so far below loma, is retarded....conor has far better hands than izzy does....is conor's boxing skill comparable to floyd....even way past his prime floyd, he's not close....loma is in his prime.
