Is having ACD a good thing or a bad thing?

When I used to manage a Sports Authority if i went in the warehouse and saw a box was out of place I fixed it. I had to, i just couldnt let it go.

If I see anything that is out of place now it knaws at me to know it is not correctly aligned.

Chaos to me is a half eaten potato chip on the floor.

Having photographic memory isnt as fun as you might think

Its generally not good, but severity and experience vary a lot. Some people just bite their nails and have to recheck the stove knobs before bed, some people wash their hands until they're bloody and raw or have to close a door for 30 minutes before its closed correctly.

Some people can go through life without anyone knowing they have OCD and others can't hold a job.

Having ocd where you like keeping things neat and in order could be ok. On the other hand I went to school with a girl who was ocd and she would wash her hands so much, the skin would actually start to crack and break open which often lead to infection. She also would routinely tear our clumps off her own hair. That type of ocd seems like it wouldn’t be as good.

Wait ...if you have Ocd ...is it killing you inside that the thread title says acd?..

Yeah, I have Asshole Complex Disorder. A lot of people around me hate it

definitely a bad thing it causes unnecessary stress and anxiety. I have mild OCD but even then it can be problematic.

nobody with ocd can type it in that order

God, this is an underrated comment...

How many of you are diagnosed with ocd and not just saying you have ocd because it's funny?
