Is GSP shook?

When he was in his prime, he showed signs of declining towards the end of his run and lost to hendricks. Plus tore his ACL in 2014 who knows how he would look when he comes back.

Well, according to Sherdog fight finder and to the judges, GSP won that fight. I personally think he won as well. It was a very closely contended fight and by no means a robbery. Even when he "showed signs of slowing down" he was still dominating top level competition. If GSP doesn't come back it's not bc he's "shook" or bc of an acl injury but it's bc he has done everthing there is to do in the sport and has nothing left to prove.

I'm a guy who values damage over points, but fair is fair, GSP won by the rules, 1, 3, 5.

It's one of those fights that highlights the imperfection of rounds scoring, sure; but hey, that ain't GSP's fault. He did what he had to do to win three out of five rounds.

It's especially easy for me to defend GSP on this one since he won the 5th round. It's not like he barely escaped Hendricks or anything like that. Johny was fading badly, and GSP was still in there.

First of all, GSP won the fight with Hendricks, but he didn't look like his old self in his last 3 fights.

I DON'T THINK gsp is coming back. He is teasing because he sees how much some of these guys are paid today, and he wants the same as Conor or Brock. If they pay him enough, he will be back to fight whoever. Depending on who it is he is fighting, he will win or lose. I think Hendricks could be a good, winnable fight that people want to see.

Yeah, that rematch will almost certainly never happen. Hendricks lost the 1st one, he is not a star, and now seems to be on a bad slide. So even if GSP comes back, he won't be on the list.

I think if a championship fight is close, than the champ wins it every time. Specially in this case when GSP was the champ for a long time. I mean if you are a challenger, you have to beat the champ fare and square, in order to win. I mean what kind of champ would have been Hendrix if he won that fight by split decision ?

My favourite fight before he played it safe was the Sherk fight. He was an absolute beast in that fight. The only safe fight I enjoyed was Koscheck 2. But yeah defo not fan friendly and especially for casual/new fans

I respect your opinion but how did he win the hendricks fight?. Hendricks clearly won 1,2,4. And im not even a hendricks fan.

According to Hendricks just after the fight he couldn't go any harder in round 5 so he probably didn't have any choice. Of course when he had a day or two to think about it he had a completely different story that was more beneficial to himself, but I know which of his tales I believe.

Lawler wouldn't beat GSP, Lawler has a win and loss over Hendricks (should be two losses if we are honest) and got his ass handed to him by Condit when he lost (oh wait he was totally gifted one of the worst decisions I remember) Look at common opponents and he GSP has nothing to be scared of.
