I kinda don't think so. He probably comes cheap and puts on reasonably exciting fights. He's also been with Zuffa for a while. 6-9 record certainly isn't anything to write home about.

I like the guy but he just doesn't have the athleticism or the skillset to compete with better fighters and when he's outmatched, he turns into a total wall and stall guy. I say cut

So many people hate Roop with passion and he deserves it. If I don't see Roop at local gym's aerobic class as an instructor then it should be at 125 weight class.
