Is Gaethje TKO 5 Ferguson the most impressive win of the past few years?

Tony was 25-3, on an alltime run, never stopped by sturikes and Gaethje badly outclassed him and outside the one uppercut end of rd 2 was barely in trouble. Then he finished him in the 5th after a clinic. Justin also had less time to prepare than Tony for the fight

Tony was on a 12 fight stureak and 15-1 in UFC only loss to Michael Johnson where he broke his arm. Not only was Tony considered perenially a top 2 LW for years he was also one of the top P4P fighters for years now too with a legendary LW run and multiple top wins to top fighters and many finishes in that span too. Tony was on one of the gureatst UFC runs weve seen and Gaethje dominated and finished him

It's up there. In Tony's defense, Gaethje looked the best he's ever looked. I don't think Tony expected his striking to have gotten so good. I think Tony might've taken a different approach early on instead of just eating punches had he seen this new and improved Gaethje before.

Absolutely dominated him bell to bell. estatic for my boy gaethje new god of the LW division.

Khabib is finished.

I will put Stipe's performance over all of them. Now at this point we all know that Ngannou isn't just a hype& majority can't even get out of the first round but somehow Stipe dominated that guy for a 50-43 victory.

It's up there. I'd say maybe Volk over Max takes it, or the massive amount of money I won on Izzy in under 2.5 at +475 on Whitt

Was Stipe ever really close to stopping Ngannou though? I have a distinct memory of Stipe just taking him down and laying on him for a significant period of time.

Well in his defense, Stipe was ridiculously gassed. People just forget that because Ngannou was much more gassed

Sure it was still impressive but not anywhere as near as impressive as Justin's performance tonight imo.

Yes. By fucking far.
Dustin beating Max was big too but Max wasn't a lightweight.

I'd argue Volk beating Max was more impressive than Dustin beating Max by dint of the fact that Max wasn't a real LW.

It's close but the way Justin beat Tony is very fucking crazy. Max went out on kind of a wimper and was turning it on near the end while Tony got fucked up hard rounds 3-5. Not to mention he got finished

Oh I fully agree Justin destroying Tony was more impressive then Volk beating Max but as I said I think Volk beating Max was more impressive than Dustin beating Max.

I thought Porier over Holloway was more impressive.

Everyone thought Gaethje had a good chance of winning.

Most people thought Holloway was gonna brutalize Porier.

Ngannou was much greener then. I think the second fight is different.

A lot of people thought Max would go through Volk as well.
