Koch in German is Cook, I thought Germany only had Krause and Siver but this guy looked good, anybody know much about him?
He probably has German ancestors... But he is American. Also, a lot of times American last names got changed at Elllis Island... For instance, my great grandfathers came from Ukrane and they changed our last name at Ellis island from Mashnakov to Marsh. Ppl think my ancestors came from England as "Marsh" is a common last name over there
Often the employes misspelled names.Like imagine an english speaker trying to spell my nameI've no idea why people would change a surname moving to a new country, ancestry/roots are important.
