Is Earthing/Grounding legit?

my hippy Portland gal friend believes in Earthing and does it whenever we travel together and go on our nature hikes.

We wear shoes, get vaccines, cook food, wash our hands, etc for a reason.

You don't wear shoes and you'll eventually step on something sharp and get a disease or lose some toes.

I tried it out, went barefoot for an entire week at the nudist camp and almost always had an erection.

Coincidence?

Well, the earthing book does have testimonials in it that earthing can have a viagra like effect. <45>

Earthing: The Most Important Health Discovery Ever!

Fuck no it doesn't heal us. You'll get some badass calluses, a different take on your posture, a few stubbed toes, and maybe something fun like a nail or stick in your foot. But that's about it. Good god, people are stupid if they think the earth will somehow mystically heal us by walking on it.
Also doo doo. Gotta watch out for that...

Video is bs, but it's also probably not bad for you.

Go to a beach when a shitload of sea shells wash up on shore and try "earthing" your way over those, then get back to me. It's a lot like stepping on legos, except they break and the fragments are sharp.

LOL at people w/ weak feet saying "We wear shoes for a reason!" Yeah, because your feet are soft from wearing shoes & socks all the time, ya damn fops!

Buncha scared, pussified city mice up in hyah...

What are you trying to accomplish with this post?

Yes
Yes it does

The earth is living and heals her peoples if you treat her well.
She is Adam's momma after all.

Try that in AZ, when the sidewalk can double as a cooking surface about 9 months of the year

Im not sure why a simple joy such as having your feet in some dirt or sand needs its own verb. You heal better when you feel good and walking barefoot in mud feels good so there is that.

It's all fun and games until you step on a used syringe

Yea, I just found it funny that they used the term Grounding/Earthing. Why not use the term barefoot?
So when the day comes humans colonies Mars and setup electric grid and appliances will they call it Marsing?
