It seems as though he can give great technical analysis for every fight, and is usually right when giving his analysis. He also usually has great game-plans as well. Chael and Stann are good but I feel as though Cruz is the best mind we have in MMA right now.

People here sure love superlatives like "greatest of all time", "the best" or the like

I like Cruz's commentary. But I also appreciate nuggets of MMA knowledge from King Mo and Frank Mir.

I'm a huge Dom fan, so I agree... he's as smart in the predictions/analysis as he is in fights.

That said, all I know for sure is that when I'm not looking at the screen and Cruz is talking, I keep thinking.....

what cruz says is very intelligent and often spot on

its just that he sounds so meek and scared.

cruz should smoke a pack before doin this so he sounds a lil more manly.

    Good God THIS.

You can't label someone as THE BEST of anything unless you compare them to EVERYONE ELSE (that's what Best means folks, better than EVERYONE ELSE)

So unless you've seen big breakdowns and analyst by every other mma fighter... we can't possibly answer this question

edit: isn't more than enough to say "Dominick Cruz is a GREAT analyst/mind"

of course not, gotta say something like "the greatest OF ALL TIME!"

I became a fan of his when I saw him coach vs Faber on TUF. Very technical and just overall extremely knowledgeable. I was impressed.

He's up there with Frank Mir.
Also he's the most underrated champion in UFC as well, and imo the Bantamweight GOAT.

I'd like him to join rogan and goldbird,

it would be nice to get someone in there that actually knows what they are talking about.

    k-flo is good too

cerrone vs diaz to name one.

the thing is we've seen it more than once. fighting is hugely emotional. especially when someone embarasses you in front of everyone.

like rousey definitely got underneath that booty goddess' head. forgot her neam

He is definitely sport wise/smart, but he is too monotoned to be considered GOAT imo

I literally just posted the exact opposite in another thread. I think he's horrible. Comes off amateurish IMHO.

Considering all of the opposing opinions ITT, perhaps I haven't seen enough of his commentating.
