I know he has helped fighters get better at making weight in their own weight classes but the only example I can think of him helping a fighter to make weight in a class below their usual one is Bj @FW... and that didn't seem to pan out too well.

Does anyone know of any examples other than Bj, an example that would support the idea that he could successfully get Cyborg down to 135 without diminishing what makes Cyborg, Cyborg.

    - I remember Bj saying that Dolce basically gave him diaretics...

Someone should help Dolce get a university degree and some training so that he legally can be called a "dietitian."

Dolce is the same as most MMA coaches, journalists, etc. in a sense that they would not be considered legit in other sports.

Not sure that counts, Vitor has fights @MW from 2008. He had been there before and i think most would argue its where he always should have been.

She'll need to lose at least 5 lbs to make 135. A 5 lb reduction in lean mass through modest calorie restriction over the course of 2 months would lead to significantly less decline in performance and strength compared to attempting to dehydrate another 5lbs of water at her present weight of 180 lbs.

The Strike force and EliteXC days are over. She needs to accept two realities: 1) 135 is the heaviest and most active division available to her and 2) 180 lbs is too steep to cut to 135 lbs without risk of significant decline in performance and strength. If she wants to lengthen her career, be more active, make more money and find challenging opponents then she'll need to drop her peak weight.

Cyborg doesn't weigh 180... her weight keeps getting more and more inflated. Hell she doesn't even weight 175 (despite the posted "evidence" where you can clearly see she is wearing jeans... and probably just finished a full meal and gallon of water.)

Sherdoggers are buying into her BS and excuses hook, line, and sinker... next thing you will see people saying she cuts down from 200lbs.

Is my memory fucked (probably) or did Dolce compete on a season of TUF? Or maybe I'm confusing him with some other bozo. Anyway, can he help her get to 135? Sure. So could I. And it goes like this:

    i) put down those <alleged> PEDs
ii) See all that food over there? Don't eat it. Eat this lettuce instead.
    iii) repeat.

Dolce is the answer if the question is, "who is the biggest blowhard douchebag not named Dana White"?
