What do you think? To me it has a good chance of being it.
I don't think so. FOTY are always competitive fights. Hendricks/Lawler comes to mind as the best FOTY so far but I'm sure there are a few others.
Way too one sided.
Hendricks Lawler is a better choice.
Performance of the year maybe but not FOTY. Lawler/Hendricks is more of a FOTY kind of fight.
Not even close.
One guy beating another guy for 5 rounds isn't FIGHT OF THE YEAR.
It's BEATDOWN OF THE YEAR.
Not even close to the FOTY. It was a dominating fight. Surprise of the year, yes.
Agree I think you could definitely make a case for performance of the year or best showing in a title fight of the year on Dillashaws part.
Was the lighter weight beatdown/decimation of the year ala Bones x Shogun.
Don't think so but Dillashaw is definitely Fighter of the year as of right now.
Just a masterful performance.
Over-the-head performance of the year, not FOTY.
Why would it be a contender for FOTY when it wasn't even a competitive fight?
for me the most exciting, griping, on the edge of my seat fight for a long time.
but even so, it can't be FOTY because of it being one sided.
Possibly performance of the year from TJ. Too one-sided too call it FOTY.
No, it wasn't close enough
It was too one-sided. A fight has to be competitive to be considered FOTY.
If that is foty then silva vs brown is fight of the decade
No, that was a one sided good ole ass whoppin'.
FOTN or FOTY goes to two fighters who have a competitive fight going back and forth.
Performance of the year and he better get that bonus.
Barao landed some shots in 2nd and 4th rounds but that fight was way too one-sided to e FOTY imo. Sill it easily became one of my fav. fights.
