DC looked tremendous against Hendo. Hypothetically speaking, he's doing ok in the stand up vs Jones and can close the distance. Is he able to do anything once he gets a hold of jones?

Please try to be as subjective as possible. No bias necessary

after seeing what he did to Hendo I have no doubt he that if he can get hold of Bones he will out wrestle him, whether he can get hold of him without getting beaten up is a different matter.

oh btw gerrrarrrd pool were unlucky this season.

DC isn't gonna get the W staying on the outside, whereas Jones may.

I don't know, you tell me. It's pretty obvious. If DC threw Bigfoot, Jones will be nothing.

DC will impose his will once he gets hold of Jones, IMO. Jones has to rely fully on his reach. But , as we already know, DC is good at closing distance , this could turn into an interesting fight.

No. Jones is better at wrestling than what all the hillbillies think.

The word you were looking for was objective.

I think DC is the only one who could consistently take Bones down. Gus did it but that was more because Jones was out of position, rather than because Gus is some crazy talented wrestler. I think DC is that wrestler.

Dc is the best wrestler in the history of the sport, and hes took down bigger guys than jones. If bigfoot and mir are no problem then hes strong enough to manhandle jones.

That's the real question here. I think DC can outwrestle Jones IF he is able to close distance and tie up with him. Will Jones' length, movement, and unorthodox offense stop DC in his tracks before he can make it the type of fight he wants? I would give the slight edge to Jones. DC has about a 40% chance of winning IMO.

Cormier can take him down b/c he is a MUCH better wrestler.

They are completely different levels. Not just b/c he is stronger.

This is it, JOnes has the unorthodox skill, we know what DC is going to try and do we don't know what Jones will do, now that's hard to train for. I Have Bones winning if he can stay on the outside.

dc is a monster if he gets ahold of you, jones doesnt have as much power and i feel dc has better wrestling, clinching, and more chance of a ko

On paper and IMO, it looks like DC needs to clinch and utilze his wrestling against JJ. He absolutely cannot give up on that even if he catches a few punches. He needs to keep JJ guessing and honest. If DC can't do that, he's in for a long night.

To answer the orginal question. Yes, I beleive DC has the strength and technique to out wrestle Jones.
