Brock Lesnar was rumored to return and fight the winner. DC literally said he wanted to fight Lesnar before retirement. If Stipe won he would've had a chance at Lesnar too.

Gus has a good shot at beating Jones though and Brock seems like it could fall apart at any moment. So Stipe clould happen. You could say he is ducking Stipe because of Lesnar, but I think he is just old and wants max money.

Ducking a guy he finished, that Struve finished and everyone seems to forget Werdum had him back peddling and hurt right before that shot...and Werdum isn't exactly a guy that hurts guys early with strikes like that. He wants the payday with Brock or one more shot at Jones as long as he wins. He said if he can't get one of them, then he'd fight Stipe. Jones is a MUCH bigger challenge, so I doubt he's afraid of Stipe.

I understand people are going to overrate Stipe cuz of the record (which is not exactly a long streak), but c'mon, the guy is pretty chinny, someone like DC isn't ducking him out of fear.

Fuck that. Stipe is awesome. But he got beaten in the first by champchamp. It doesn't beg for a rematch unless you hate DC and don't want him to be champchamp,and if that's the case,fuck you,pal.
