He said he wanted to fight Mir as his first UFC fight, then there were a few other match-ups are HW. He was hinting that if Cain were to lose the belt, then he would challenge for it. Also hinted if Cain stays HW champ and he runs out of fights, he will drop to LHW and challenge JBJ right away.

He could avoid doing large weight cuts. Just stay at around 205-210 pounds between fights.

But personally I'd guess substantial cuts are a necessity for all weight classes below HW today. You simply have to be as big as you can possibly get for a fight. Imagine a 205 pound Cormier stepping into the cage against a guy like Jon Jones - last I heard he cuts from 230 pounds. Plus he's about eight feet taller.

If Cormier can't cut weight, he probably really is better off at HW where he doesn't have to cut a single pound.

Hope so. Dude wanted on Tuf with Jones bad. He may stick around at HW til Cain faces the Reem though, cause theres a good chance Cain isn't holding that belt after his next fight

Kidney stuff... With proper weight cutting, DC can make weight without him losing one of those.. Rumble (who can fight at HW if he wants to) once fought in WW.
