That's completely fine if she wants to fight 145. But why does she keeps calling out 135lbs fighters and why does she wants to fight in the UFC when they don't have a 145lbs division?

And the fact that those other fighters can make 135, means that they actually ARE smaller than Cyborg.

You don't hear Lawler calling out Dos Anjos to 'man up' and fight him at 170...

She's probably just looking for big fights and $ to be fair, she can't make 135 realistically so she can only hope those big names move up.

Lawler has plenty of big challenges and big fights without calling out smaller fighters, cyborg really doesn't.

Every logical and wise career choices lead to Cyborg fighting at 135 where there is the most money, competition and fame. Even if she doesn't become the champ, that's where the biggest pays'd be for her. If she was able to consistently make that weight, she would have done it already.

What I don't get is, if Cyborg states she's not gonna make 135, why is she getting a fight at 140? It doesn't make sense to me. She can't continue fighting at 140, unless it becomes a division. Or unless she loses pretty soon, in which case she's rendered irrelevant.

Dunno why the UFC even catered to her. Is there some gigantic rabid Cyborg fanbase (outside Brazil) that I'm unaware of?

There is no path forward for a Cyborgweight division in the UFC where she exists just to make their champs look bad.

They would've had 7 weeks to train from the time they were offered the fight more than enough time to train and they turned it down. Why would any former women's champion and current champion fear a women that's been fighting cans according to you? Cause they know this will happen to them.

Holly Holm been knocked out before,she isnt afraid of any beating. Fighting for a title is alot better than facing a can crusher at a catchweight.

Maybe it's the risk/reward? And for the record when Miesha wasn't champ she said she'd fight the Borg. Holly also said yes... until it came up and she said no lol.
And Ronda just don't like her. Ronda was in a position to ignore the Borg and do her thing, and may easily be in that position again after her next fight.
So the Borg gets someone who can make 125 to fight because Smith could really use a signature win and doesn't really lose a whole lot if she loses
