Dude has 29 kickboxing matches......0 losses

33 mma fights at the highest level.....only 6 losses.

Fights on a weeks notice. Fights injured. Overall badass.

1 loss was to the champ, Jamie Varner. Cowboy avenged that controversial split decision loss by beating Varner the next year.

2 losses to another champ, Benson Henderson.

1 loss to another champ, Anthony Pettis.

1 loss to the guy who is the next potential champ, RDA (has the next title shot).

And 1 loss to Nate Diaz when Cowboy should've never been allowed to fight that night, dude was hurt.

Amazing career. Where does he rank at all-time LW if he were to retire tonight?

He's a legend of MMA in my opinion. Great mentality, entertaining style, and has beaten some very tough opponents.

Look at his run now- Dunham, Martins, Barboza, Miller, Alvarez, Jury

that's a hell of a run- not a slouch in that group even with the two mid-tier guys (both Martins and Dunham have a reputation of being very tough and they both stopped).

I'm torn on the fight. Always root for Bendo and yet I really don't want to see Cowboy lose.

Watched Cowboy in-person when he whipped Jeremy Stephens for 3 rounds. then after the fight, i comes out that he was in the hospital a week earlier with twisted intestines, UFC told him not to fight, he still did and kicked ass.

Greatest fighter 'ever' would still mean having a legit win over guys at the top of the lw division, but Cerrone's never beaten any of them, and the Pettis fight shows just how much of a gap there is between him and Cerrone.

Props to Cerrone for beating Eddie Alvarez the way he did, I thought Eddie would out box him and at least check a few leg kicks lol.

Guys saying Faber: he won the WEC belt, at the time that was the best belt around. He doesn't count.

This is distinctly Cowboy 2.0 after the RDA fight and if you weren't a fan of him before you gotta respect that he embodies what fighting is about now.
He'll fight anybody, anywhere and clearly at any time and always puts on a show.
He may never win a belt but he'll be one of those guys that's talked about years after he's done fighting.
    Excellent fighter, excellent career.
