Seriously, Siver looks like a midget compared to him and Aldo is the same height as Siver. It's similar to how Jon Jones is dwarfing all his opponents.

Size =/= physical dimensions.

Saw this thread the other day. TS...

Is like Cerrone, lanky with good reach advantage and the knowledge of how to use it.

you know this is like saying tall guys shouldn't be allowed to play basketball, right?

Depends on if he's your favorite fighter or not. By alp accounts, yes he is. If Weidman, Bendo, and Jones get the "too big" talk, then he should as well.

But of course his fan base is so rabid, they'll say no. Even though they're probably the same ones that say all these other guys are too big for their division.

Yeah, he can make weight, but he's a 155 fighter. Dimensions and emaciated face at weigh ins show it.

But of course if he makes weight, its whatever with me. Just pointing out the hypocricy of Sherdoggers.

Point being, stop saying certain guys are too big for a division when he beats your favorite fighter, or because you don't like him.

Dude can easily make 155.

He said he plans on moving up, so accusing him of ducking is bullshit. When he came in the UFC he said he wanted to fight at 155 regularly but Dana didn't want him jumping around between weights and told him to stay at 145.

If he's able to make weight AND perform well then he's not 'too big' for the weight class, obviously. Same with Jones.

Rumble @ Welterweight is an example of someone too big for a weight class.

A fight with Aldo over 5 rounds may well be the first real test of that.

When did I say he's ducking. My point was fighters are too big or just right depending on their fan base, and their haters.

Point is, stop saying people are too big for a weight class, because its all always an agenda with both sides of the fence.

Well that's the thing: none of those fighters should get the "too big" talk. The whole subject in itself is fucking stupid and shouldn't really be discussed in a serious manner by anyone who values rational thinking over emotion-based responding.
