I'm pretty sure everyone knows he's very good. He's just not nearly as good as he or the UFC would like you to believe. He has some monumental wins and some monumental losses. He's a high-end striker who's had Matrix-level flashes of greatness, but he also has huge flaws in his game (i.e., cardio, grappling, and generally being a front-runner).

In terms of the hate, many (if not most) people are turned off by arrogance. And most people are turned off by someone who receives undeserved opportunities. Conor fits the bill on both counts. And he hasn't done himself any favors over the last couple years by behaving like a low-life.

The disrespect this man gets is insane, yeah he has some losses but he has a very good resume, even at 155lbs for taking out the champ with extreme ease. If humbler men accomplished these tasks they would be universally loved.

Khabib according to them is a p4p GOAT. He runs through everyone, including Poirier and Gaethje, their honor is somehow intact, but Conor puts up an even better fight than they did before eventually losing and somehow his loss to Khabib is embarrassing



BJJ specialists losing in BJJ comps means nothing and is never taken into consideration when talking about the MMA career of a BJJ specialist like lets say Maia. But Conor loses in boxing to arguably the boxing GOAT and that is somehow embarrassing

I would say that some people doesn't like him because he behaves like a middle school bully trying to get attention, you can't go through life offending people and hoping to be loved, he choose that character or he is in that way, I don't know, anyway that worked very well for him, he is multimillionaire and settled for life, I'm pretty sure he cares a lot less about the opinions of sherdoggers than his fans.
