His in-ring fight IQ is off the roof. His emotional intelligence also is on display whenever he is hyping up the crowd. He got the wit when it comes to media conferences. His business savvy is number 1. Who else can even compare?

People use to say that Rich Franklin is a smart guy. But it's not that hard to become a high school math teacher by white collar standards. But imagine a world without Conor McGregor, is there anyone else capable of creating that much hype when they fight in the 145/155 division?

Only heavyweights make the kind of numbers that Conor make. This guy is an anomaly.

McGregor is a special fighter.

He's got the skills, the charisma and an unbelievable work ethic.

It's time to defend soon and I'm certain he will fight twice by January.

He’s smart to avoid Khabib and Ferg at all cost.

Maybe. But he never shows that when he doesn’t fight. We’ve seen DJ and GSP fight but no Conor. I also think the hate he gets will be amped down if hé came back

It all depends on how the story ends; but he has the opportunity to do it if he's still as determined as he once was.

TS, have you done fapping yet?
Now clean that mess up before mom comes home.

He's the greatest conman/salesman in MMA history..

Him reaching for Diaz in the first bout (a taller opponent), going for the KO punch, was a particuarly bad and uninteligent move. Especially since the Diaz brothers weakness to footwork and leg kicks is so widely known and thoroughly tested (and evident in their fighting style). In the second bout his corner constantly had to remind him to go for leg kicks, and not engage in a brawl.

Conor has a fairly high fight-IQ. But it's not great or impressive or anything like that.

that panic wrestling against a bbj Nate was a brilliant move. Hats off. He tapped faster than I thought he would

In-ring fight IQ? No. Marketing/business aspect? 100%

He is smart in-ring, but I don't understand why he would be considered smarter than say GSP.

He learned alot being a pro boxer he was able to bring mental warfare into mma.

The downside for the fans is that he knows his worth and doesn't devalue himself like so many mma fighters {cough cough. Cowboy Cerrone)

Floyd Mayweather has all of those qualities and he's a moron.
