Everyone seems to have an excuse... from tainted supplements, skin cream, kangaroo meat, Viagra and so on.

I can only recall Chael Sonnen for coming clean. Props to him for owning up. Has anyone else?
 
Agreed, maybe Carwin. Machida and CroCop basically turned themselves in. Wish they'd just be honest about it.

stephan bonnar openly admitted to using, ken shamrock who is a steroid advocate, mark kerr who did a documentary about it, basically everyone who got a TUE exemption for TRT, and joe rogan
 
After some recent research brought on by another thread, BJ openly admitted to his IV use. Not a PED, but still banned.
 
Sylvia admitted to roiding, although his reason for using was suspect in my opinion.
 
Props, but...concocting a plausible excuse for that many PEDs detected at one time would have been beyond even Chael's wits.
 
openly admitted to it? He said that he and his wife were trying to have a kid. Then he tested positive for EPO and sat quietly for 2 months. Don't pretend like Chael Sonnen is some kind of honest guy who always gives it to you straight, he has an excuse and a half for everything.

Carwin admitted it and he's never been caught. Chael reveals as little as he can while still seeming honest and winning the PR battle. Chael's just good at spinning it, revealing half truths, and deflecting.
 
Can't find any info on anyone not mentioned except randleman and war machine, unless you count a sketchy interview where Maldonado says he fully plans on juicing to the gills for the fedor fight since there weren't drug tests and the promoter says he doesn't care

He's one of the few, but there's a common theme with the majority of admissions: in-active. Of course active fighters are going to say whatever they must when their job is at stake, i.e. excuses, uncertainty or flat out lying. Chael wasn't so vocal about his ped use when he was fighting.
