He's physically the biggest HW wrestler. Kerr and Carwin are close, but Kerr was of a different era and Carwin came to KTFO guys pretty much exclusively. Lesnar's wrestling pedigree is better, of course.
In terms of effectiveness, he's not in the same ballpark as Cain, or even Randy, both of whom have used their wrestling to dominate guys their size or larger. Lesnar just can't generate the same offense against guys far smaller than him. The Cain we saw at 200 would have left pieces of Hunt all over the cage, for example.
Lesnar has far better physical gifts (to the extent that they are in fact natural ones, which is dubious) than Mark Coleman, so he's got a better shot and cardio, but in MMA terms I'd rank them about the same.
Lesnar starting ten years earlier and sticking with it could have come a long way. If he'd fought in an earlier MMA era he would probably have been dominant, too. But he wouldn't be taking home $2+ million paydays either. Smart man.
