UFC has always been more popular than Bellator...with its superstar power in Ronda, McGregor, Brock...as well as great talents like Jones, Cormier, Khabib, Nunes...as the UFC has gone through its attitude era

UFC also has a much more involved president in Dana White, whos very similar and outspoken like Vince McMahon...and definitely has his "favorite" fighters as well as the ones hes doesnt like.

But now we are seeing former past their prime UFC stars go the Bellator to try and have success there...Frank Mir, Rampage, Wanderlei, Chael Sonnen, Tito...along with a few still decent fighters Bader, Mouaasi, Rory, Machida

Similar to what WCW did with Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, etc

I was in my wrestling prime during the Nitro vs Raw wars on Monday nights. Bellator is nowhere near the level of WCW.

WCW was beating WWE before getting caught and finished

Then what happened? Let's just hope they are not like WCW.

I enjoy Bellator, while WCW was what made me quit watching wrestling, couldn't get WWF on TV anymore... it was a sad time.

Strikeforce was the closest thing to WCW.

Bellator is like TNA

Nah. WCW was a lot closer to WWE(F) than Bellator is to UFC. Sometimes WCW was even ahead.

Bellator has a more ECW vibe. Small, popular, on the radar but not a threat.

ECW despite being a small company had more of an impact on the business than Bellator ever will.

Bellator has a lot more in common with TNA/Impact Wrestling than it does WCW. WCW actually reigned supreme for awhile and had the WWF sweating, whereas TNA never has. They've always been the distant #2 promotion just like Bellator is.
