I think Soa hit harder but Sakurai has a slightly better gas tank.

Sakurai was so hyped but got wrecked by 57 year old Overeem.

Don’t see Sakurai getting near the top even in the marginal UFC HW division.

Yeah he's nothing special, not sure I see many comparisons between him and Soa other than both being a bit flabby though.

Tybura is better than any of Soa’s wins. Overeem was too smart for Sakai but it wasn’t a bad showing from the jiggly guy. Remember, he was the underdog in that fight.

Sakai is 29 and at HW thats like being 22. Hes already beaten arguably better guys the Soa ever did. Safe to say he'll have a better career.

He didn't seem to have much of a ground game as shown in that Overeem fight, and even against Overeem his strikes weren't able to hurt him much. He's more of a volume striker more than anything else.

This could be a problem when you got guys in the HW division who can turn your lights out with less shots than the number of fingers you could count on your hand.

Sakai had already accomplished more than Soa before even stepping into the UFC. He's not going to be a title threat, but he'll actually provide a test for better prospects like Pavlovich and the like.

Context matters, Harris didn't have a single UFC win when Soa beat him and was in-and-out of the UFC on a regular basis, Barry lost to Tim Hague (RIP), and the Krylov fight was one of the worst displays for the HW division ever.
