In my opinion, she has a good chance.

Shevchenko is very strong, has a better clinch game and of course is a much better striker.

Nunes has the power, but she is essentially a BJJ fighter, who relies on her power over technique, just like; Caio Magalhaes, Thales Leites, Jacare and Gadelha. None are really smooth and technical strikers, but have power.
I think if Valentina can stop the first few takedowns, she can begin to slowly pick apart and break Nunes on the feet.

and, it's also pretty obvious in saying that McMann and Baszler are nowhere near Valentina's level when striking.

EDIT: Valentina also has a full training camp, she should preform much better than she did vs Kaufman.

and she is also hot af, while Nunes is...........

Go Shevchenko!

I think anyone not picking her is silly to be honest.

Ban for starting a thread that isn't about Conor McGregor. That's policy now isn't it?

I am. She's a good underdog bet IMO

I like Valentina but I'm team silly on this one. I think Nunes is going to overwhelm with the size and reach advantage.

But if you look for the poll I believe its something like 70-30 or so picking Valentina.

I am she's a really live dog in this fight, Valentinas clinch game is so far superior to Nunes', I think she'll win handily.

I got Shevchenko in this fight by point fight UD. I would not be suprised if Nunes shows up like a pitbull and eats her alive in rnd 1 or 2 though. Very interesting fight

I would absolutely love a Holm vs Shevchenko @ UFC 200

Why wouldn't she have a good chance? Sarah Kaufman was for a long time considered a top-3 fighter and Shevchenko never looked in danger against her.

Hell yeah i love and support the european strikers and especially a hot ass fighter like her

About a tad less than half the people are picking her to win.

The Vegas odds show that at least.

Expecting her to completely destroy Nunes. Too bad she's not a big underdog anymore or I would put some money on her

Came for Andriy Shevchenko.

Not that disappointed.

She definitly has a chance.

But I'm picking Nunes. Still, really excited about this fight. Should be a heck of a scrap.
