Still cannot believe he just accomplished that

5 YEARS OFF

Took the fight on one months notice

39 years old

Against the best KO artist ever, top 10 HW, title contender

Amazing!

Hunt was injured pre-fight

Not really amazing. he was always going to be able to take hunt down and pound on him. just as long as he trained and took it seriously.

I'll be shocked if his fitness and performance stay the same without an exemption

Meh, Fedor took Hunt down and finished him 10 years ago.

Not only is hunt older, but he has a lot more mileage and damage on him. A LOT more.

It's more amazing that he got USADA exemption.

It's embarrassing to see people trying to spin that into some 'legendary' performance.

i think you meant to say 5 Years ON, with exemption.

Hunt is a KO guy if he really hits you but is too old and can't do much else

Yes, I was really shocked. picked Hunt by early tko.

Brock is just an amazing athlete. I don't think we have seen anyone like him in MMA, since Sapp and Randleman. What these 3 guys did was not supposed to be possible.

Not at all, he's been training for a few months, hasn't been tested for PEDs for years and was facing an opponent with a proven weakness on the ground in his 40's.

Lot's of jacked white guy envy here, I smell.

Its shocking in the sense that he was able to do what he did to begin with. In an 8 fight career he rose to champion, defended twice and retired. Coming back after having 12 inches of his colon removed and 5 years off to win at UFC 200 is pretty damn remarkable if you also consider the level of pressure there is when asked to main event UFC 200 after being off 5 years, he ended up co-maining.

The X-factor here is that its not that remarkable if you consider Lesnar a legit fighter. I do, so it wasn't that shocking to see him get a win but on Sherdog, many refuse to accept him as a legit fighter even though he is the former Heavyweight Champion. We see it all the time, Lesnar wins because he is big, Lesnar WWE blah blah, Lesnar blah blah negative blah blah.

Brock is a real fighter. Not the best ever, but he is a legit fighter.

Meh, Fedor took Hunt down and finished him 10 years ago.

The funny thing about that is that it was before Hunt started taking MMA as seriously as possible, as he's said himself. Also a weird thing to bring up in comparison as it was in Fedor's prime, and he's the best HW this far. Not exactly the measuring stick you'd use for someone that's been a MMA fighter for only a few years, and that's coming off a huge layoff. The most remarkable thing in the Fedor fight was that Hunt had Fedor in a submission attempt, despite caring less about grappling back then.

I don't know if it mostly seems desperate to say something negative about Lesnar, or if it's more disrespectful to Fedor to say that he just barely performed above "meh".

Nope he aint been sitting on his ass the whole time

I'm positive he trained longer than one month for this.

Yeah I'm super surprised a very good wrestler was able to take someone down and lay on top of him.
