she is lesbian strong, as long as she can defend the armbar she should win this fight

nobody has been able to defend a rousey armbar but what if

The people who dislike Rousey enough to try and convince themselves

Another Rowdy Bec? I hope this one isn't a attention whore.....

Unfortunately I have to go with Rousey via armbar.

Liz's style is not right for beating Ronda. Her stand up striking is not great. She relies on the strength advantage she enjoys over most 135lbers to get body lock and trip takedowns from the clinch, then employs a good suffocating top game. In this fight, Ronda is just as big and strong, also wants to be in the clinch, which is where she starts her sequence that leads to the armbar. In her last fight with Kaitlin Young, Liz spent the entire first round in a clinch with her back against the cage. In this fight, that's a recipe for disaster.

I think its a victory for her if she gets out of the first round without being armbarred.

Rousey is the obvious favorite but it's ridiculous that people give a more experienced more versatile fight no shot against a one trick pony. Rousey will more than likely win by first round armbar but people thinking Liz has not shot are crazy.

I was trying to figure out if she has a chance or not, since I don't know much about women's MMA. I noticed that she lost both fights against fighters whose names I recognize. (Coenen and Kaufman) Not sure what to think.

A) 7-2 vs 6-0 is not a significant experience advantage. Count Olympic judo in the mix and the experience advantage is Rousey's, not Carmouche's.

B) If Rousey is a one trick pony I suppose Rickson is too.

Carmouche has the advantage of being the best athlete Rousey has fought so far, only Cyborg would have an edge over her, but unfortunately Liz' skills lag far behind Ronda's at the moment.

I hope the Countdown features Liz and her girlfriend making out.

She knows it's coming, the main question is what she's going to do about it.

That's all I have to say about the fight.

What does her being lesbian have to do with anything? And you only think the armbar is Rousey only tool? I bet she has many other submission techniques as well.

Liz was beating Coenen ass before the triangle. Looking towards a good fight.
