Television IRONHEART TV Series (2nd Trailer, post #88)

I've loved The Hood ever since he got a hold of some Infinity Stones, but that looks costume looks horrible. Like not even bad enough to be called bad cosplay. And its such an easy costume.

edit: that being said, this is a very cool, off the radar villain to be using.
Wasn't really interested in this show before, still not super excited, but The Hood has me intrigued.
I'm not a big fan of the Hood but for me they faithfully captured the look for the character in that set photo.

I loved Alpha Flight, but I think they are too small a niche fan base to make it worthwhile. Which is too bad. I really want to see a gigantic CGI Sasquatch

To be fair, no one knew Guardians of the Galaxy would blow up like it did. Hell, it wasn’t even the original Guardians.

Alpha Flight fan myself. I wouldn’t be surprised if GotG have had more cancelled comic series than AF.

I gotta be honest here, I knew Guardians would be a smash, even though, as a comic, I felt they were lame, just because of intergalactic options. Unlimited palette.

And Black Panther has tons of cancelled comics. But the character is iconic.
AF, while epic in their makeup, if very niche. If not for the X-Men link and John Byrne launching the series it might not have made it off the tarmac.

I've been hoping for Alpha Flight for years. You can't tell me that Marvel can make GotG work and not pull off AF. And it checks off so many boxes:

Beauty with mental health issues.
Homosexual brother.
Native American father figure.
CGI behemoth.
Tumbling midget.
Power Suit Man (or woman, if they need more female empowerment).

There's so much potential. It's a gold mine waiting to be excavated.

The Hood does not look good.

How did Alpha Flight go from Canada's super team to being some sort of outer space team? I missed a chunk it seems.

John Byrne era and Jim Lee era are the best in terms of art. But there are amazing stories from every era of the book.

Except for Sasquatch getting taken out by the wrecking crew. He's a fucking Hulk with hair FFS

Weapon x connection too

They had an outer space run earlier on to

Agreed, the budget necessary to pull off an Alpha Flight movie could not be justified.
But I would love to see it.
I've mentioned in a past life how my mom, discarded all my wrapped and preserved comics when I left for university. I had every single issue of Alpha Flight thru the first few years.

Prime Eva Green would have been my first round draft pick to play Aurora.
She would kill it and look great doing so but it would not be a big enough role to justify her presence. She would need a much bigger lead role. I can't even think whom I might cast her as right now??
