I really hate they've downgraded fights to exhibitions makes it seem meaningless and amateur. The runner up wins two exhibitions and gets the only L of the night.

Kinda weird to debut with the open scorecard on an event where most fights are one-rounders.

But I'm personally disinclined to think that it'll work. Mostly the fighter who is losing the fight is doing so because... they're losing the fight. Not because they think they're winning and so coasting.

While open scoring by itself will not improve the quality of the fight judges, it will at minimum expose the judges to some sort of accountability which in turn will slowly weed out the most openly corrupt and or incompetent amongst their ranks.
