I would have put a decent amount on Morandin.

My thinking is that Ducote is in her proper weight class at strawweight now since Bellator doesn't have it and she competed well against bigger and better opponents than Janaisa at flyweight previously. She actually has the size advantage for once and her ground game and submissions are far better than Morandin. On the feet Morandin is more active but I don't think the striking gap will be as big as some may think if Emily keeps up with Janaisa's activity level and mixes in takedown attempts. I wish I got Emily at +205 like it was apparently at Royal Panda though.

I favour Morandin but couldn't pass up Ducote +205. Also bet Norton at dog odds which didn't work out.

Emily Ducote looked great, won by knockout, but Kaitlin Young's striking didn't do enough damage and her improved ability to get up after being taken down was still not good enough against a grinder like Pam Sorenson. Tiny 0.24 unit loss.

Heh, glad this wasn't offered on Dimes. I was going off what I had seen of Ducote a few years ago in Bellator, but it appears her striking has improved significantly working at an ATT affiliate. On top of which Morandin threw a criminally stupid kick that was begging to get countered, and both her chin and recovery abilities were exposed as poor.
