Following high school, she wrestled at the University of Minnesota at Morris and captured the 2006 U.S. National Title at 121 pounds. In 2008, she enlisted in the Army as part of the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP).

What a match-up relatively early in their MMA careers. I think both fighters have bright futures at AW. I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them in the UFC within two years. More great match-making by Invicta; they book so much better match-ups than the UFC! Hard to pick a winner in this one. Jacobson got tagged quite a bit (and her face showed it) by Owen, and I think Moyle is a better striker with harder punches. But Sharon shouldn't have much problem taking down Jamie and could rule the fight from top position. Tough one to call and it should be a good fight.
