I'm staying up until ludicrously late to see Kankaanp

I am excited, even though unprofessionalism ran rampant at weighins yesterday.

People seem legit upset about that, lol. I missed them, and when I spoke with Roxy and Jamie they didn't say a thing about it. If it wasn't for Sherdog, I would have thought things went without a hitch.

I'm not mad, just disappointed. Boy, I sound like a parent there. Seeing a title fight turn into a non-title fight because a fighter couldn't bother or wasn't able to make the weight is just frustrating. Four fighters missing weight, including three who decided not to cut anymore, just looks bad for a card that has 20 fighters on it. At least Evinger cut the miniscule .2 pounds to get to 135, but the others were all at least a pound and a half over.

Gaul Daaaaaaad, they're trying :D

Yeah, I don't know what the missing weight was about. Seems weird so many missed. But I know weight cutting is harder for women (as the science is tailored more for men right now) and it's possible there was just a perfect storm of troubles cutting.

I read that in Randy Marsh's voice 100%. GAWL!

Must have been something in the water. Invicta 13 didn't have any weight missing, but at Invicta 12, four more fighters missed weight.

What I find most strange is that for some reason, fighters are fined for missing weight on their initial try, even if they come back and make it. That doesn't seem right, but I guess the NSAC does it differently than Missouri.

Lost a ton of interest with the missed weight.

Probably tunnel vision. At that point, only their fight matters.

My body is ready

*checks to see if wife is around*

So Tonya did eventually make weight? All is forgiven then IMO. the other 3 fighters, tsk tsk.

She did, and was still fined the 20% for missing it the first time. And it's obviously a non-title five round fight now.

Can't say I'm a fan of fining people if they eventually make weight. Fair enough if they don't, but this will just lead to situations where you may as well give up and just take the extra 5% hit. Pretty sure that's what Pannie will have done when she missed weight.

Those 155'ers looked pretty big, seems like if there was a tall girl who could put on some muscle she could dominate that weight class.
