INTERVIEW: Condit wants rematch with Nick Diaz or Robbie Lawler

So it's official, Condit says the only 2 fights that interest him are rematches with Nick Diaz & Lawler.

He also said he's willing to jump in and replaceme Woodley at UFC 201 if needs be.

What about Woodley??

If he beats lawler I'd love to see Woodley Condit 2
 
Diaz won't fight him, Diaz is only interested in collecting scalps whereas Condits goal is the belt.
 
Carlos is in a great spot to retire. He has had a sick career and he still has his brain.

I am not sure I want to see him fight again. I dont see the point. He is not going to win the belt, there is nothing else to take the risk for.

Condit has a long life ahead of him. I consider him one of the more fortunate fighters in what he has accomplished v damage he has endured.

Know when to fold 'em, killer.
 
Book Condit vs Diaz damn it. It's a no F'ing brainer.

Lol not sure what you mean by that, anybody with a brain and 2 good eyes knows he beat Lawler.

Would certainly seem that way since they won't give los a rematch. Winner would probably get a title shot if Lawler retains. A rematch for Lawler with either would simply be too marketable.
 
Funny. MMA is the only sport in which either the judges or the fans make the winner of two fights ask for a rematch in both of them.

Great fights though. I'd love to see Carlos Condit fighting for the belt again, but I'd be happy to see him settling this "Natural Born Runner" shit once and for all too.

That's what I was alluding to. Woodley would say some shit about how he already beat him and a rematch will not be good for his brand.

I don't think Nick wants to wait that long. but I could be wrong
 
LOL @ rematching Nick, even Carlos knows he lost the first fight. Hope he leaves his track shoes at home for the rematch

Most of the UFC are never gonna hold a belt. Most of them are never even gonna be top 10

Wonderboy will get the shot if he beats Rory, I think that's a tough hill to climb. I like Thompson actually, there would be time for him to get a shot before seeing the winner of Condit/Diaz 2 probably wouldn't be ready to fight until after New year's anyway.

I think he already did. His fight after all that proved he isn't a runner. Dude was eating Nukes from Lawler and he was still in the pocket throwing his own shots and didn't panick wrestle. People need to get over that Diaz fight. I would still like to see a Diaz vs Condit rematch though.

Yeah only children are still holding that against Condit. Diaz included lol.
