Opinion Internet is a utility. Govt should provide free internet for all homes

It’s no surprise, look at their representatives. Red states hold America back at any sort of progress and they do so with a spiteful smile on their faces.
 
This is coming from somebody who leans very left.
We have libraries still. Schools allow kids to come in early or stay late to use internet.

Poor people are on the internet posting shitty tattoo pics, all types of designer clothes and shoes, fancy looking meals, and all types ratchet or trailer trash shenanigans.
There is no need or justification for this.
Anecdotal:
I once "dated" a smoking hot whore for a bit. She had 2 boys. Both boys were in grade school but they had a broken computer at their house. The dingbat litterally chose to buy her children Yeezy shoes that they would grow out of in less than a year instead of fixing or buying a new computer.
The kids went to the library to do their homework or school work when needed.

I know we have vastly different views. I firmly believe that every state should be purple. Anytime a state is controlled by 1 party for too long they start to fall apart. They need each other to stay honest. Kentucky... Well, they've been red as long I can remember.

Charging people the amount they do for Data should be a crime. For once i agree with you. With the amount you need technology today it should absolutely be accessible to everybody

No, but schools could perhaps offer some sort of very basic connectivity that is limited to a loaned chromebook for extremely impoverished kids on a case by case basis. Ports and addresses used by recreational apps and websites like Netflix, videogames, social media, porn etc would be blocked, or more precise only certain nessecary things will be whitelisted.

Many schools HAVE loaned out chromebooks, but that doesn't do anything for connectivity.
Unless you live in the school, their local wi-fi ain't gonna cut it.

I've actually been very consistent about economic class being one of the biggest problems facing the average American but feel free to make up more shit.

Yes this would go further and involve cutting some deal with local isps. Some special package that is restricted and also monitored.
