Interesting question....(interesting to me anyways)

Currently a law student with a few years to go. I also have an almost complete BA in music (musicology, to be presise) from before I became a sensible adult. To pay the rent I work as a bouncer at a bar/music venue and do various security work at night clubs, festivals, concerts etc. - not a line of work I could see myself in ten years hence, but quite enjoyable/entertaining, and it makes for an interesting resume.

Worked for a Big 4 for the last 3 years or so as a transaction (Financial Due Diligence for M&A deals) and restructuring advisor.

Impacted my training a great deal : I would get sent for months with a day notice on projects at the other end of the country, long hours, occasional work on WEs, etc.

Starting very soon at a bank in project financing and LBOs, with hopefully a decent work-life balance. Can't wait to be able to train consistently !!!!!

I'm a construction safety rep and OSHA certified outreach trainer for Construction, and am a certified Construction Risk Insurance Specialist working for a huge construction company.

I work in a nursing home kitchen as a cook. It is fun and works around my school schedule. I also am a full time student. In order to teach High school math, where I have about two years left.

More importantly I am a full time parent of three and boyfriend.

My one training buddy works with me and the other two is jobless

Senior Consultant for an IT training firm...my office is only a few hundred metres from my club so i am lucky as hell :icon_chee

Started in KPMG before moving to current role as VP in what was the largest bank in the world (LOLs, not anymore :) )

I routinely sneak out for 3 hour lunches (ie lunchtime classes)

Professional poker player, so i can pretty much be on sherdog and a bunch of other sites the whole day.:icon_chee

I'm a lawyer (with my own firm, which is why I have time to post here), a professor and an alpaca farmer.

Cool. The wife and I have been thinking of getting into farming angora rabbits for wool production. Right now I'm an English teacher. I think rabbits are probably easier to manage.

Law student, BJJ practitioner, 21,000+ posts, and has a girlfriend? I am VERY impressed!!

Hey hey now, they didn't all happen/start at once. It went: started posting on Sherdog --> start bjj training --> get girlfriend --> start law school. It is only now that I'm attempting to juggle them.

Lesson to the young: posting on Sherdog will only take you upwards in life.

My life has improved in so many ways by posting on Sherdog.

I hear so many people around me saying they want to do BJJ but I tell them about the class and they act like they're gonna go but never do. It's kind of disappointing

Cool man, where do you train? Judging by the location....Lotus?

Full time law student by day, part time jiu jitsu student by night. The two of them don't get along well, and my girlfriend has a love-hate relationship with both.

One day, when you're making the big bucks, the hate part of the relationship for law school will go away.

But man, law school was terrible.

Well, you have to comb them constantly to obtain the fiber. With alpacas, I shear them once a year.

To each his own, but after looking at it, I much prefer alpacas. Plus, you don't have to essentially cage alpacas like you do the rabbits. I can let them run free and watch them play in the field while I drink iced tea on my back porch....living the dream.

I'm going into my Senior year in High School. I don't have any sort of job but I have thought about a couple things.

I'm a pretty decent photographer and people have suggested I go into that as a career, but there isn't much money there.

I'm a teacher.
One of our Brown Belts is a 40 year old white collar, financial baker. Works for a HUGE bank, and makes a ton of money.
For a little while, the right side of my brain frantically tried to come up with what a financial baker does. Then the left side added an "n", and the right felt pretty stupid.

I can let them run free and watch them play in the field while I drink iced tea on my back porch....living the dream.
This sounds really, really plesant.

I work as a supervisor in a private security company.

Sitting behind computer everyday and doing excel sheets or talking on phone...oh god how i hate my job :(

Im only 25 and been planning to go back to school as soon as i find out what i really would love to do, maybe becoming a teacher or something.
