It's potentially a hate crime to tell someone to "Speak English", not that speaking english could potentially constitute a hate crime.

What's wrong with someone speaking in their native tongue? What gives someone else the right to tell them to "speak english"? The same people complaining about this would get their panties in a bunch if they were in a foreign country like Thailand, and a local Thai admonished them for speaking english.

I called them colonists for their lack of respect for their new country, the rape gangs, the crime epidemic, the sense of entitlement not because they are brown. I am brown too.

Why should the native population have to learn their language but its wrong to expect immigrants to learn the native language ? Please explain the logic there. The reality is learning the language of your new country is the bare minimum effort, if you don't put in the bare minimum effort the chances of you being able to contribute anything meaningful to the country is quite small.
