Injured Kessler pulls out of Super Six tournament

That sucks.
Weakens the Tourney even more.

Who are they gonna replace him with since Bute is with HBO?

That's terrible news, at least it gives us something to look forward to after the super six is over.
 
I'd hate to see Green get pimped because of this but maybe just having 4 guys makes the most sense now.

I'd be cool with Bika stepping in though

Green vs. anyone else shouldn't count for the tournament

Ward beat his ass and I honestly thought Froch beat him too.

Not a big deal imo, although I was looking forward to Green-Kessler a lot.

I FUCKING KNEW IT!! Way back in the prediction thread @ the outset of the tourney that Kessler would jam out.

He got a belt back (Froch's) , and decided to call it a day.
 
Well that's unfortunate. I wonder what they plan to do. Drop Green or replace Kessler?

Be awesome to see Calzaghe or Bhop jump in, not going to happen though. I hope Kessler heals, cause he's pretty fun to watch.
 
I'm hearing most likely green will be dropped from the tournament but be retained by showtime and get a fairly decent fight instead, and the next fights will be the semi-finals, which it should be, other than froch the other 3 beat kessler every day of the week. Dirrel would have been the odd man out losing to ward, and froch would have snuck in even after he gets smashed by abraham, and then he would have probly dropped out anyway. So this was these guys can fight, and we can see the ward/abraham final I've been waiting for since the onset of this tournament earlier than expected.
