Infowars And Alex Jones Banned On Multiple Online Platforms

Ya’ll are going to be sorry when everythingbhe says turns out to be true.

Alex Jones fans only listen on ham radios anyway.

Good too see Jones the piece of shit finally receiving repercussions for spreading dangerous lies.

Double post***
sherdog still showing errors since Cejudo & TJ broke it.

I dislike Alex Jones but it's funny when Facebook allowed propaganda for the Islamic State for years to remain.

The Sandy Hook shit was 6 years ago, why now?

Because he keeps fuelling the fire. And people end up harassing the parents from Sandy Hook telling them their children never existed. Or they are doing the same with 9/11 family members. Or storm a pizza restaurant with an AR-15.

Would you want someone like that using your company to spread his message?

It is hilarious watching people defend Alex Jones. It's basically like posting, "Hey everyone, never take me seriously ever again."

None of these were mentioned on the reasons he was banned

If i'm claiming to be a neutral platform for all users, yes.

This is something I agree with, but it's something that should come from the government, not Facebook, IMO.

They don't want to be part of civilized society, that's fine with me. Get off my fucking internet dorks.

STUX net all their routers.

Waiting on the guys to come in and defend Alex Jones. They haven't had enough evidence that Alex Jones is a worthless asshole yet. No this is not a slippery slope, nor does it violate his first amendment rights. These are not government ran companies. Alex Jones is a giant bag of dicks and I wouldn't mind seeing him go broke for his bullshit.

On one hand I do get the argument that private business can do as it pleases

On the other hand corporations and the government get closer to being the same thing every day and Im not sure I like that a private company has made itself such a major part of how we talk to each other to a point of almost being essential has the ability to turn you on and off at will without much recourse

Im not a fan of alex jones or con men but I think im even less of a fan of deplatforming and cyber banishment in a cyber world . To me this is like the phone company blocking peoples calls based on not liking what they have to say and thats insane

Last thought is that I think this just makes things worse by giving the CT types a martyr and something to say they were right about all along and there is a war on us !

I wonder if Rogan will take down his podcasts with Alex..?

Or just invited him back on to get some numbers..

Well I guess see the post below the one I quoted :(

Im probably not who you were expecting though

I don't think I ever watched Alex Jones or Infowars for more than 1 minute straight so I legit don't know if they are indeed engaging in hate speech. Can anyone share some examples? Or this yet another example of I don't like what you say so I'm going to call it hate speech?

Alex Jones is a fucking nutter, but I 100% support his right to do his thing. As long as he is not screaming fire in a crowed theater, he can do what he wants.

If i'm claiming to be a neutral platform for all users, yes.

Are you serious or just trolling?
It says it in your OP:
"When users violate ... policies repeatedly, like our policies against hate speech and harassment or our terms prohibiting circumvention of our enforcement measures, we terminate their accounts," said a spokesperson for YouTube.

Unless it's involving porn or graphic violence, nothing should be censored on a platform where minors might be present. If no minors are permitted, then no censorship should exist. I don't watch or listen to Infowars, but this is stupid and pretty obviously politically motivated.

The real problem is these "private businesses" are getting government protections as a 'neutral platform'. They want their cake and eat it too.

Either you are a neutral platform that accepts all viewpoints and get corporate protections from the state or you are a biased platform that gets nothing. You can't have it both ways.
