Brunson is a 36 year old vet with a 20-7 record, this was a huge step up for Edmen.

Surprised Edmen’s trainers approved the match up.

Of course they did, Coach Edmond said he saw similarities between Edmen and Ronda. They were driving that hype train.

He should probably find a new gym, Edmond does a horrible job improving flaws but he's been there for years he probably won't

He was a good opportunity fight for him, and when you are ko'ing people in minutes you don't get a real look at what deeper waters look like.

you could say eyepoke, ran out of gas, but to me it looked like he just wilted under the pressure. he was fading pretty fast even before that elbow on the ground finished him off.

Credit to Brunson. He showed little Ed a vet lesson.

They weren't particularly good opponents, he definitely shouldn't have been ranked in the top 10 yet. Rushed too soon and melted. The potential is there but Edmon isn't going to correct Edmen's flaws.

was that lack of cardio or lack of heart? (or both)

Seems like when the going got tough in round 2 the kid folded like a cheap suit. Very Kevin Lee-esque

Sometimes next-level jitters can get to even the most talented prospects. After he saw how Brunson could control the fight in the first, his confidence just seemed to slowly decrease.

I don't know what you guys are watching.

    Jitters? Confidence?

The clinch work, grappling, takedowns, transitions and pressure from Brunson caused that. Edmen hadnt gone into the second round in the UFC since his debut. His cardio was why he initially began to slow down. Then Brunson was why it happened so expeditiously and why he lost. This isn't rocket science.

He's fucking twenty two. Got damn.

It was getting taken down repeatedly at will by a much stronger Brunson, not just punching himself out. Takes alot of energy to get back up.

Edmen wanted to be the youngest UFC champ ever. Talking about fighting Adesanya or Costa before this fight with Brunson even happened. I think he extremely underestimated and stupidly looked pass Brunson. Obviously he got a shock of a lifetime. He might not fight ever again.

That is the only way and we should change his training camp if he wants to be champion

IDK if he was Underestimating Brunson but I predict that he will KO Brunson in the very 1st round just like he did against all his opponents not named Stewart
