Yes, there is obviously a lot at stake for Conor, but if you really think about it, Nate has even more to lose.

Mind you, I do see Conor losing once again, (he'll hurt Nate early, although it won't be enough) but in spite of that, Conor can still command a fat paycheck at a lower weight. (...where he'd better fucking have instant success...or else he'll really be in monetary trouble)

Whereas, if Nate loses, goodbye $$$

Which is a big reason why I fucking WISH he would force the ground game...as Conor does indeed have a punchers chance...

On a related note, if Nate loses, people are bound to besmirch his boxing ability, and as I've said before, he is rather lacking in that department...(Diaz bros mainly get by on cardio/chin/toughness...but if they were as good as their boxer friends say they are, then...they would actually be elite fighters) but against Conor his striking doesn't need to be elite level since Conor isn't very good.

...yes, Conor has shown punching power at 145, but at higher weight classes he's going to need more than that for sustained success.

Also, Conor displayed a good chin...but again, at lower weight classes.

Anyway,

WAR Nate getting paid!

No one cares about Conor anymore. He clearly does not want to go back down to featherweight and defend his title and would rather Instagram touchbutt or tweet insults to hype a boxing match that will never happen.

Nate doesn't give a single phuq.

Dude just wants to get paid.

He is simply much TOUGHER than McG.

The result remains the same.

TS, I applaud your correct use of the term besmirched.
Everything else I pretty much disagree with

No one cares about Conor, still you got his name in your sig...

It depends on the fashion he'll lost

Conor is gonna get the bitch stockton slapped out of his mouth. All in a days work. Nate is just there to get paid and scrap, no pressure on him.

Nate has signed a 250k 4 fight contract. He is also getting a LOT of money for this fight, win or lose.

Nate also doesn't give a shit about this sport, or his legacy.

So nah, he really doesn't have much to lose and he can retire happily no matter what.

Conor is the one who's chasing 2 belts, Nate's already on his way out.

Win or lose, Nate's career is going to go just like it did before all this Conor stuff, he'll just be a lot richer.

Nate has nothing to lose, just like in the first fight..

If he loses, they get a trilogy in which he gets yet another payday

I do? I can't see it while I'm on my phone. Anyways, I'll try and delete it now since it's still there. Still, none takes him seriously anymore since he's too scared to go back to 145 and lost to someone who had such short notice, he was still nursing the hangover from the party he was at when he got the call.

Wtf....not even close.

If Conor loses AGAIN to a middling LW, he can't make a case for getting an easy title shot at LW. It ruins his plans for that division.

Nate will be exactly where he was before, a top 5ish (on a good day) LW, only now he has MUCH more exposure and marketing behind him from the Conor matchup.

It's really win-win for Nate. He can demand more after since he's more of a draw, win or lose.

Conor loses so much of his blind casual fans aura if he gets his ass kicked yet again. And I'll be surprised if he can make FW again without hurting his performance.

Conor's fucked if he loses again.

That is why the fight is being contested at WW. Win or lose, they will gift Conor that LW title shot.

Nate has made more money in the last fight then he probably did in hes whole career. He make an even bigger payday next fight. Nate does not need to fight anymore he can call it quits when or lose.

Hey man, I hope that Nate makes it look easy, but regardless, it's a fucking fight.

this can be said for almost every winner of the first bout in a rematch.

Lmao I'm still confused as to how conor is supposed to hurt Nate. Outside a kick but still. I know no one punch lands the same but conor did land many power shots and Diaz was never fazed. I think Nate really boxes him up this go round.

If Conor wins, he will not fight Nate again. He'll say that the 2nd fight is how the first fight should have gone. He'll be "done" with Nate and move on. I'm glad Nate won the first fight, and I hope he wins the rematch.
